ATTEND 2000 EUROPEAN AIRSHOWS WITH
L'ASSOCIATION DE FANAS D'AVIATION MILITAIRE
(AFAM)
For those who like to attend airshows, the Association de Fanatiques d'Aviation Militaire (AFAM - Military Aviation Spotters Association) will put several journeys in place, in order to attend airshows in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. You will find hereafter a short list of what has already been scheduled for year 2000.
You may become a member of this association for a small fee of FRF 85,- which will allow you to get a 5% reduction on all the journeys arranged by AFAM. Learn how to become a member by clicking here.
Did you take some beautiful pictures ? AFAM can put it on a Tee-Shirt or on a Sweat-Shirt, or even enlarge it to a poster size. For a Tee-Shirt, price is FRF 65,- or BEF 400,-; for a Sweat-Shirt, it is FRF 115,- or BEF 700,-; for A3 size posters, FRF 10,- or BEF 60,-; for A3 size pages poster, FRF 40,- or BEF 250,-. All checks have to be paid in french or belgian francs, labelled to AFAM. Do not forget to put the photograph with your order ;-)

Organized journeys for 2000 are for the following airshows. By now, requested price does not cover entrance fee, unless specified. No reimbursement possible if you cancel your journey at the very last moment.

Starting this year, it is possible for you to take a bus from Luxembourg (at least 45 persons required). For Koksijde, Farnborough and Volkel, this journey is called a "shuttle" which will be put in place only of there are minimum 45 persons.
Here are the time and meeting points for UK journeys only.

minutes before that time! We will not wait for delayed people!

Be there 15 minutes before the bus departure
REMARKS :
- For journeys to the UK, you must have a valid ID or
passport
- E111 form from your insurance company
- Minors should have an authorisation for leaving their
country
- Entrance fee for UK meetings is between £15 and
£25: change is not very attractive aboard ferries, so take coins
before taking the bus ;-)
- If you are not that happy with english food, you may
take yours with you (but do not forget you will have to carry it until
you have eaten everything :-)
- Check your camera before leaving, take proof of purchase
of your hardware (caution with "sensitive" customs...), do not forget to
take enough films... and spare batteries (in a meeting, you will only find
batteries for cameras other than yours!)
- Most of the meetings will take place when it is sunny and hot : do not forget to take a hat or bob, sunglasses, sun care creams and water enough. Do not hesitate to take a pull-over with you (for the Channel part of the trip) and something against the rain.
- AFAM WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYED BUSES OR FERRIES
- There are WCs in the buses, but they will not be opened to you during the journeys. Do not hesitate to use the ones on the ferry or before going into the bus.
- Payment of the trip has to be made before going into the bus.
